Store Assistant

Position Overview

Store Assistant in Barry – 20 hours per week.

Local candidates only; must be able to commute. Store hours 7 AM to 8 PM; early starts and late finishes required.

Key Responsibilities

• Friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, with a strong focus on outstanding service.
• Manage deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, prepare orders, roll up sleeves with warehouse tasks, stocking shelves.
• Ask the right questions to understand customers\’ projects.
• Be proactive – sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts to customers.
• Maintain high store standards and create a welcoming workplace.
• Reliability – be present, flexible, committed, and supportive of customers and team.
• Bring energy, enthusiasm, and let your personality shine.

Qualifications & Skills

No retail experience required. All we ask is commitment to delivering excellent service, and we’ll teach you everything else.

Hard work and a positive attitude are more important than experience.
