Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes. At Toolstation, we’re not just interested in what you can bring to us today. As a retail supervisor, you’ll serve customers, support the Store Manager, check deliveries, pick items from the warehouse and stock shelves. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, but if you take real pride in what you and the team do, our customers will notice and love us all the more for it.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager or stand in for them in their absence, motivate and engage the team, coach to grow sales and achieve targets.
- Muck in: check and unpack deliveries, stock shelves, clean the branch and put orders together.
- Deliver great service: provide a great customer experience with a smile, even when busy, and coach the team to do the same.
- Ask questions and build relationships: ensure customers leave the branch with everything they need for the job.
- Build a fun working environment: maintain product availability and high branch standards, so the branch is a place everyone loves to work.
- Hard work and passion: retail experience is not required; focus on delivering great service and we’ll teach you the rest.
- A love of teamwork: be happy to muck in and get your hands dirty.
- A positive attitude: make sure customers have a great experience while in our branch.
