Responsibilities include acting as stand-in for Store Manager, motivating and engaging the team. Tasks involve checking and unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, cleaning the branch, and assembling orders. Deliver excellent customer service with a smile and coach the team to do the same. Build relationships to ensure customers leave with everything they need. Create a fun working environment; maintain product availability and high branch standards.
Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.
Day-to-day, you will be the face of Toolstation, making a fantastic first impression and building long-lasting relationships. Support the Store Manager and perform store functions such as checking deliveries, picking items from the warehouse, and stocking shelves. Early and late flexibility is required – you must be able to work the full 7 AM to 8 PM schedule as needed. New hires with no retail experience are welcome if they are focused on delivering great service. You should love teamwork, have a positive attitude, be reliable, flexible, fun to be around, and bring your whole self to work.
