Position Details
- 2 Permanent 40 hour positions
- 1 40 hour Fixed Term Contract 12 months
Contact Centre Hours
Our Contact Centre is open Mon- Fri 9am - 5pm. You will be based in the office for the first 6 months of employment whilst we support you to learn our systems and ways of working. After that you will have the opportunity to work remotely up to 4 days a week with 1 or 2 days based in the office.
Interview Process
If you’re successful at application stage we’ll invite you to a 15 minute phone interview, the next step after that will be a face to face interview process.
You’ll be the voice of Toolstation, making a fantastic first impression and going above and beyond to make our customers happy. This isn’t your average call centre role, there’s no script to follow, so it’s more about asking the right questions and finding answers quickly and efficiently. And if they’re not happy, it’ll be up to you to get things back on track! But if you take real pride in what you do, our customers will notice and love us all the more for it.
Day-to-day
- Delivering great service.
- Providing a great customer experience with a smile on your face (or voice!) - no matter how busy you are.
- You will be answering inbound calls promptly and professionally as well as responding to customers via webchat.
- Asking questions and building relationships.
- Reading conversations quickly and effectively - making sure our customers leave the call happy and with everything that they need for the job, meaning you will provide accurate information and the right guidance.
- Being resilient.
- Effectively handling call after call - from general enquiries to customer complaints, you need to be ready to deal with it all.
- Collaboration.
- You will work with other team members and departments to ensure we achieve our customer first goals.
- Hard work and passion.
- You don’t need call centre experience. Just be focused on delivering great service and we’ll teach you the rest.
- Problem solving skills.
- We need you to read conversations quickly and manage them effectively using a good judgment approach, the ability to solve problems, good time management and organisational skills.
- A positive, friendly and flexible attitude.
- Make sure that our customers have a great experience whilst communicating with us.
- Good computer proficiency.
- You will need to be familiar with using computer programmes and systems as you will be working on different mediums in this role.
