Senior Store Assistant (keyholder) in Saffron Walden – 30 hours per week. We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

What you’ll do:
- You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, and you’ll also be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves.
- Support colleagues to deliver a great customer experience; retail experience is not essential, but some experience as a key holder or supervising team members is helpful.
- Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.
- Provide outstanding service during busy times and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ask the right questions to understand customers' projects and help them find what they need to get the job done.
- Be Proactive: promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and sign customers up for deals and prices.
- Keyholder responsibility: open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team, and provide short-term supervisory cover when needed.
