Senior Store Assistant (keyholder) in Fraserburgh — 20 hours per week. We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.
What you'll do
- You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, and you’ll also be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves.
- Be prepared to roll up your sleeves in a varied role; it can get hot in summer and chilly in winter, but you’ll fit in by caring about doing a good job and providing great customer service.
- This position has accountability for supporting colleagues to deliver a great customer experience. While retail experience is not essential, you will need some experience of either being a key holder or supervising team members.
- Get stuck in: handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders. Hard work and a positive attitude are valued.
- Provide outstanding service: engage with customers and stay efficient during busy times to ensure a great experience.
- Ask the right questions: show genuine interest in customers' projects to help them find everything they need to get the job done right.
- Be proactive: promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and sign customers up to experience great deals and competitive prices.
- Keyholder responsibility: open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team, and provide short-term supervisory cover when needed.
