Senior Store Assistant - Keyholder in Consett

Senior Store Assistant (keyholder) in Consett — 20 hours per week. We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

This is more than just a store job.

• You'll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, and you'll also be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves.
• Be prepared to roll up your sleeves; it can get hot in summer and chilly in winter.
• This is a position with accountability for supporting colleagues to deliver a great customer experience; some experience as a key holder or supervising team members is desirable.
• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.
• Provide outstanding service: chat with customers and stay efficient during busy times.
• Ask the right questions to show genuine interest in customers' projects and help them get what they need.
• Be proactive: promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and sign customers up for great deals and competitive prices.
• Keyholder responsibility: open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team, and provide short-term supervisory cover when needed.
