Store Assistant in Ayr – 16 hours per week. Live locally and commute easily to the store. Stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must manage early starts and late finishes.

As the friendly face of Toolstation, you’ll assist customers, handle deliveries, perform warehouse tasks, and stock shelves. The role can be hot in summer and chilly in winter, but with a good attitude you’ll fit right in. No retail experience? No problem – we’ll teach you everything else.

Key responsibilities:
  • Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, especially during busy times.
  • Ask the right questions and help customers find everything they need.
  • Be proactive in selling the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, signing customers up for deals and competitive prices.
