What you\’ll doWorking 37.5 hours per week on a day shift 6am – 2pm Toolstation is rapidly becoming a leader in the UK retail landscape. Supporting your team in making sure the right products arrive at the right branches in perfect condition. The key is in maintaining an efficient and unified team operation by ensuring communication is slick. Your team will be working at pace (we move over a million units each week and 300,000 lines), and you will be working effectively with the inbound and outbound teams to maximise productivity whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. But if you and your team take real pride in what you do, our customers will notice and love us all the more for it.Day-to-daySupporting. Whether it\’s assisting the Operations Manager, working closely with other team leaders or motivating, engaging and coaching the team to achieve targets, you\’ll instil our safety culture, ensuring each member of the team goes home safe and well after a productive days work.Communicating. Be it with the Buying department and suppliers, or your team in daily briefings, you\’ll make sure communication is at the heart of everything you do to ensure a smooth operation.Delivering great service. You\’ll lead the operation to ensure the highest level of stock availability on the pick face – and you\’ll do it with a smile on your face – no matter how busy you are and coaching the team to do the same.Improving. Never resting on your laurels. Identifying risks and formulating ideas to reduce them, making proposals for improvement and implementation. And when it comes to your team, you\’ll do the same; mentoring, coaching and developing them to help them fulfil their roles and progress with Toolstation.Building a fun working environment.
