The role requires local living and a flexible schedule to cover the store’s opening hours of 7 AM to 8 PM. Candidates must be able to manage early starts and late finishes and work within a fast‑paced, customer‑focused retail environment.

Serve as the friendly face of Toolstation, guiding customers to the right products and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Support deliveries, unpack stock, manage warehouse tasks and keep shelves stocked. Maintain store cleanliness and prepare customer orders, often working in varied temperatures and environments. Handle keyholder duties: open and close the store, assign daily tasks, and provide short‑term supervisory cover when necessary. Promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, actively selling membership benefits and competitive pricing to customers. Assist in sustaining excellent customer service during busy periods and demonstrate genuine interest in customers’ project needs.
