This is a hands‑on role where you will challenge, support and guide the Retail team to develop and execute sound financial strategies, ensuring every decision is commercially viable and aligned with our ambitious business objectives.

- Commercial & Investment Support: Identifying and evaluating initiatives to increase profitability across our entire retail estate, providing financial modelling and investment appraisal for all key retail property initiatives, such as new store openings, relocations, refits and closures, and developing compelling business cases for capital expenditure to ensure a clear ROI.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Leading the annual budgeting and quarterly re‑forecasting processes for the retail function, producing insightful weekly and monthly performance reporting, complete with detailed variance analysis and narrative‑driven commentary to clearly explain the “why” behind the numbers.

Prior experience in a commercial environment, demonstrating a broad understanding of business operations and the impact of the finance function. Strong business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with excellent analytical capabilities. Proven experience in data management and manipulation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively at all levels of the business. Experience in a large retail or FMCG organisation is advantageous. You’ll be high energy and enthusiastic and thrive in a fast paced, agile environment.
