Toolramp is building the AI growth layer for the UK’s trades companies. We help plumbers and electricians win more local jobs, manage customer enquiries, reduce admin, and get paid faster. We are looking for a part-time Growth Marketing Lead to help us scale customer acquisition across paid search, SEO, and conversion-focused landing pages. This role is ideal for someone with strong PPC and SEO experience, especially within consumer-focused startups, marketplaces, local services, or high-intent lead generation. The role is flexible and part-time, 1–2 days per week, with the opportunity to have a direct impact on an early-stage company building in a large, fragmented market.

Tasks

  • Manage and improve Google Ads campaigns across plumbing, electrical, and home services categories.
  • Research, test, and refine high-intent keywords across consumer and partner acquisition campaigns.
  • Improve ad copy, landing pages, conversion funnels, and lead capture flows.
  • Build and execute an SEO strategy focused on local services, trade‑specific pages, and high‑intent search terms.
  • Identify content opportunities across blogs, service pages, location pages, and FAQs.
  • Track campaign performance, conversion rates, CAC, and lead quality.
  • Run structured experiments across PPC, SEO, landing pages, and messaging.
  • Work closely with the founder to turn learnings into clear growth priorities.
  • Help build a repeatable growth engine across different trades and UK cities.

Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Google Ads, especially search campaigns.
  • Good understanding of SEO, including keyword research, on‑page SEO, local SEO, and content planning.
  • Experience working with consumer‑focused startups, marketplaces, local services, or lead generation businesses.
  • Comfortable working with early‑stage companies where speed, testing, and ownership matter.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect marketing activity to commercial outcomes.
  • Experience improving landing pages and conversion funnels.
  • Clear, practical communication style.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise the highest‑impact growth opportunities.
