About the role:
The Sales Office Clerk role is key in the organisation as it is responsible for producing all the orders for dispatch each day. Prompt and efficient order generation from customer calls and emails is essential to ensure the smooth flow of work into the Warehouse. All orders received must be actioned and processed the same day to ensure we fulfil our next day delivery obligation.
You’ll have a positive outlook that will help you thrive in the achievement of the following daily responsibilities:
- To be the first point of contact for all customers, ensuring we provide the best customer experience for our customer needs.
- Dealing with and processing customer enquiries/quotes/orders via phone/email and electronic systems, making sure we deliver the best customer service possible, ensuring all the customer’s requirements are met.
- Editing and releasing sales order journals accurately to avoid errors when released into the Warehouse, to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, to ensure we provide a positive customer experience.
- Promoting our B2B website to customers selling its features and benefits, to generate additional business and sales.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities that are commensurate with the role and within your capability, as and when required to ensure the company continues to operate efficiently.

- Competent with Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Able to organise workload, think logically, and work under pressure.
- Training on all systems will be provided.
