Your mission is to transform how we operate by turning cutting edge AI into a global operational reality. As our AI Solutions Developer, you won’t just be "implementing AI"; you will be the architect of the agentic systems and intelligent workflows that allow us to scale our mission of saving food across 21 countries. You will sit at the high impact intersection of technology and commerce. By partnering with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams, you will hunt for operational bottlenecks and replace them with elegant AI-driven solutions. You aren’t just looking for "process optimization"; you are redefining what is possible in our daily operations. By combining your technical skills and commercial understanding, you will help our teams work more effectively and focus on what truly matters, ensuring that every automated process translates into more food saved.
Location: Copenhagen or London (Hybrid)
Reporting to: Associate Director of Commercial AI & Automation
Impact: Global (supporting 21 countries)
The Role in Detail
- Strategic Opportunity Discovery: You will proactively interrogate existing operations to identify high-value opportunities for automation. You act as a strategic sparring partner for the Commercial organization, challenging the status quo and prioritizing use cases based on ROI and scalability.
- End-to-End AI Architecture: You will lead the design and implementation of commercial AI systems. This includes defining data requirements, selecting optimal models (LLMs, SLMs, or ML), and architecting the full stack - from prompt engineering and tool development to deployment and monitoring.
- Ecosystem & Tooling Strategy: As the internal authority on AI, you will curate our commercial AI toolkit. You will evaluate, procure, and integrate third-party services, ensuring our tech stack remains cutting-edge while maintaining a tight partnership with Tech and Legal teams.
- Governance & Responsible AI: You will ensure all AI initiatives are built on a foundation of integrity. This includes maintaining strict compliance with GDPR and championing ethical AI practices and robust organizational security policies.
- Cross-Functional Synthesis: You serve as the bridge between technical complexity and business value. You will translate vague business pain points into elegant, high-performing technical solutions that align with broader company goals.
- Change Leadership & Adoption: Beyond technical deployment, you are responsible for the human element of AI. You will drive organizational transformation by designing new ways of working, ensuring sustainable adoption, and measuring the lasting impact on productivity.
Requirements
- The "Agentic" Expert: You have hands-on experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous agents using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Technically Versatile: You are proficient in Python, with experience in web frameworks (FastAPI/Node.js) and building/consuming RESTful APIs.
- Reliability Obsessed: You know that non-deterministic systems can be unpredictable. You have expertise in Advanced Prompt Engineering and establishing LLM Evals to ensure systems meet commercial quality standards.
- Data-Grounded: You have practical knowledge of RAG architectures, vector embeddings, and function-calling to connect LLMs to real-time business data.
- Engineering Disciplined: You live by software best practices - CI/CD, Git, unit testing, and structured documentation are second nature to you.
- Strategic Communicator: You can explain "what is feasible" to peers and prioritize projects based on a clear-eyed view of ROI vs. effort.
- Commercial Architect: You possess a "Product Mindset." You can lead discovery sessions with non-technical stakeholders and build "UI/UX Lite" interfaces (e.g., Streamlit, Retool) to make your solutions accessible.
Core Tech Stack: Python, LangChain, FastAPI, GCP, AWS.
