What you will do

We are looking for an experienced Grocery Controller to join our UK team in London.You\’ll lead a dynamic team in one of our fastest-growing regions and drive sustainable commercial growth across the grocery channel. You\’re responsible for setting a strong channel focus and exceeding sales targets. You\’ll also have indirect responsibility for one of our fastest-growing e-commerce accounts in Amazon. You\’ll motivate, engage and inspire the team of 3 to achieve our commercial goals, helping Tony\’s make an even bigger positive impact in the world of cocoa. You will be working from our Richmond office and report to the Head of Sales UK & Ireland.

All wrapped up, you will

  • Establish Tony\’s as a top brand in the UK grocery channel by expanding distribution, increasing visibility, and securing prime shelf space alongside major chocolate brands.
  • Lead and develop a high performing, engaged sales team with clear goals, optimised processes, and tailored development plans.
  • Set and execute a winning grocery sales strategy aligned with Tony\’s vision.
  • Deliver strong business performance by turning data into killer insights and ensuring accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment by inspiring the team and customers to deliver on Tony\’s strategy.
  • Act as the central communicator across grocery, operations, marketing, and category teams, championing strategic priorities.

  • Demonstrated success in consistently delivering and exceeding commercial targets.

  • Deep understanding of the FMCG market and grocery channel, ideally with experience working with Tesco.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to set direction, inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Tenacity and resilience in overcoming setbacks, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in English, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, simplifying complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced scaleup environment, bringing clarity and cohesion across diverse teams.
