Our client is a Print Finisher based in Leeds LS12 The position is on a temporary-to-permanent basis after a 12-week period Working Shift Pattern
3 shifts on rotation: Early - Late - Nights
Sunday to Saturday 05:45 - 14:00 / 13:45 - 22:00 / 21.45 - 06.00 The Print Finishing Operator / Machine Operator is responsible for accurately and efficiently finishing printed materials, ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare printed sheets to required specifications.
- Inspect material quality throughout the run, identifying defects such as print issues, errors, contamination, or inconsistencies.
- Ensure correct labelling and packaging of finished goods for final dispatch or further processing.
- Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning.
- Follow job specifications, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality. Skills & Experience
- Experience in print finishing equipment or in a print or packaging environment (preferred but not essential).
- Attention to detail with the ability to spot defects
- Working to deadlines and productivity expectations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Personal Attributes
