- Our client is a Print Finisher based in Armley, Leeds LS12
- The position is on a temporary-to-permanent basis, 12 weeks
- Working Monday to Friday 08.00hrs to 17.00hrs
Print Finishing Operator is responsible for the accurate and efficient finishing of printed materials, ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare printed sheets to required specifications.
- Inspect material quality throughout the run, identifying defects such as print issues, errors, contamination, or inconsistencies.
- Ensure correct labelling and packaging of finished goods for final dispatch or further processing.
- Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning.
- Follow job and specifications, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in print finishing equipment or in a print or packaging environment (preferred but not essential).
- Attention to detail with the ability to spot defects
- Working to deadlines and productivity expectations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
