Blend Operators are responsible for the daily operation of complex chemical mixing processes. This includes executing production requirements while meeting safety, housekeeping, quality, and output targets. Operators are expected to work independently within a collaborative team environment and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 05:30 - 14:00 / 13:30 - 22:00 (rotating). Note: Due to the site's location and alternating shift times, please ensure you can access the site.
Duties Include:
- Ensure mixing equipment is running smoothly, within validated parameters, and in compliance with SOPs.
- Ensure mixing processes are carried out and documented within a high level of compliance, including but not limited to order of addition, mixing times, and other designated set points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mixing equipment within validated parameters and in compliance with SOPs.
- Execute mixing processes with strict adherence to documentation standards (e.g. order of addition, mixing times, set points).
- Monitor and adjust machines that mix chemicals and liquids according to specified formulas.
- Program, set, and adjust machine operations as required.
- Accurately weigh chemicals and raw materials into mixing tanks.
- Observe tank readings and adjust temperature and flow meter controls accordingly.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in machine operations and manufacturing environments.
- Valid Counterbalance Fork Truck certification.
- Ability to develop process expertise and troubleshoot effectively.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- Verifiable work history with strong reliability and attention to detail.
