Job Description:

The candidate should

have a strong technical background and be able to work within a team environment, supporting the design delivery of existing projects and growth of the existing client base. Previous experience of and familiarity with the local Civil Engineering market is desirable.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare temporary works designs or undertake design checks to design briefs received from clients. Briefs will range from simple requirements to complex items of temporary works.
  2. Prepare calculations for designs and design checks
  3. Complete technical assurance documents as required
  4. Be responsible for your output and any team assigned to you
  5. Check that documents prepared for issue meet the requirements of any designs produced by you
  6. Mentor junior members of staff and contribute to the development of others
  7. Liaise with clients to ensure that their needs are being met and respond to queries and requests for change
  8. Be responsible for the commercial success of your input and identification of change. Meet budget and programme demands
