This post is an exciting role for the right candidate. An opportunity to mentor junior staff, lead technically challenging solutions and forge their own path through direct client relations and technical excellence. Preferably based in Glasgow at circa 3 days a week.

Essential

  • To act as geotechnical design lead for projects and lead geotechnical engineering design teams
  • To guide and support less experienced staff, sharing technical knowledge and act as a mentor
  • To proactively seek out geotechnical design work and target standalone geotechnical projects
  • To develop long term working relationships with key clients
  • To drive the use of digital tools in ground engineering and geotechnical engineering design
  • Have commercial awareness and be able to financially manage resource
  • To understand and follow business and industry QA processes

Desirable

  • Perform and lead technical design for complex design solutions
  • Provide pragmatic and informed design solutions
