Job Summary

The successful candidate will work on various schemes within the Power & Energy and Highways sectors. Projects include onshore and offshore wind farms, grid connection infrastructure, and highway improvements, supporting renewable energy infrastructure development. The role involves technical design, multidisciplinary management, and project oversight, suitable for those nearing chartership or recently chartered with ICE or IHE.

  • At least three years\’ postgraduate experience
  • Knowledge of DMRB, highway standards, and MCDHW
  • Experience in highway/road drainage and earthworks design
  • Ability to work in a team, managing junior staff
  • Experience designing SUDS compliant with UK standards
  • Hydraulic modelling of surface water drainage
  • Interfacing with local councils and Trunk Road Operators
  • Proficiency in Civils 3D, CAD, MicroDrainage
  • Experience in design and project management
  • Knowledge of SEPA guidelines, CAR regulations, and licensing
  • Near or recent chartership with ICE or IHE
