Job Summary
The successful candidate will work on a variety of schemes within the Power & Energy and Highways sector. Projects include onshore and offshore wind farms, grid connection infrastructure, and highway improvements for renewable energy infrastructure. The role involves technical design, multidisciplinary design management, and project management, suitable for those approaching or recently achieving chartership with ICE or IHE.
- At least three years’ postgraduate experience
- Knowledge of DMRB, council highways standards, and MCDHW
- Experience in highway/road drainage, alignment, and earthworks design
- Ability to manage junior team members
- Experience designing SUDS compliant with UK standards
- Hydraulic modelling of surface water drainage networks
- Experience working with local councils or Trunk Road Operators
- Proficiency in Civils 3D, CAD, and MicroDrainage
- Experience in design or project management
- Knowledge of SEPA guidelines, CAR regulations, and licensing
- Approaching or recently achieved chartered status with ICE or IHE
Qualifications:
- BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or related field
