Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for CAD Technicians to join their multi-disciplinary team based in their Ashford office in Kent.
We require a skilled and experienced technician to produce high-quality engineering models and drawings; the focus is on technical engineering draughting ability rather than BIM software expertise.
Essential
- Technical draughting competence is essential
- Ability to supervise and train juniors to produce accurately.
- Competent technical engineering technician able to interpret engineering drawings and sketches prepared by engineers and translate these into appropriate CAD models and presentation drawings/models.
Desirable
- BIM (packages such as Microstation, Open Buildings, Aecosim)
- Whilst all our projects must adhere to minimum BIM delivery requirements, mastery of advanced BIM software is not essential (training can be provided where required).
Qualifications
- Minimum HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject
