Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a Civil / Structural Design Engineer to join Tony Gee's growing team in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This role is an opportunity to join an established team on the cusp of growth with great career and professional development opportunities and support.
We are looking for candidates with an eye for detail and flexibility to work across projects in the rail, highways, and power & energy sectors.
- Reporting directly to a Senior/Principal Engineer
- Deliver projects to deadlines and budget
- Manage production of CAD models and drawings for projects
You will ideally be experienced in:
- Design and build or assessment projects
- Reinforced concrete and/or steel structures
- Structural design for infrastructure projects, having worked in multi-disciplinary teams to modern CAD standards
- Conversant with Eurocodes
- Progressing to professional qualification with either the Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers
- Experience with structural analysis software such as LUSAS or MIDAS
- Applying sector-specific standards, e.g., Network Rail standards, DMRB
- Temporary Works Design
Required Qualifications:
MEng Civil Engineering or equivalent degree
