Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for an Associate Geotechnical Director to take a leading role in our Geotechnics team based in Glasgow. This will be an exciting role which will also provide opportunity to mentor junior staff, lead technically challenging solutions and forge your own path through direct client relations and technical excellence. It is preferable that the successful candidate would be based in Glasgow 3 days a week.

  • To act as geotechnical design lead for projects and lead geotechnical engineering design teams.
  • To guide and support less experienced staff, sharing technical knowledge and act as a mentor.
  • To proactively seek out geotechnical design work and target standalone geotechnical projects.
  • To develop long term working relationships with key clients.
  • To drive the use of digital tools in ground engineering and geotechnical engineering design.
  • Have commercial awareness and be able to financially manage resource.
  • To understand and follow business and industry QA processes.
  • Perform and lead technical design for complex design solutions.
  • Provide pragmatic and informed design solutions.

Qualifications: MEng, MSc, CGeol, MICE
