- Ryder : Chef de la Pat Patrouille, un garçon de 10 ans actif et héroïque. Il appelle les chiots pour passer à l'action et sélectionne le bon chiot pour le travail.
- Marcus : Un dalmatien drôle et énergique de 6 ans, qui dirige une grande partie de la comédie de la série. Le comédien jouera également le rôle du CAPITAINE TURBOT, biologiste marin et pêcheur insolite de la Grande Vallée.
- Ruben : Un petit bouledogue de 5 ans coriace et bourru avec un cœur en or. Il est fort, désireux d'aider et a une douceur inattendue.
- Zuma : Chien sauveteur en mer, un labrador de 5 ans qui adore l'eau. C'est un chiot de plage joyeux et énergique.
