Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our small, friendly, family-run business. This role is a mix of on-site work and time in our well-equipped workshop, offering variety, stability, and long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault-finding, repair & assembly of hydraulic hoses/systems
- Hydraulic and mechanical servicing and repairs to vehicles, plant, and machinery
- Managing and maintaining a mobile service unit
- Hydraulic cylinder repairs (training provided if required)
- Working independently on site while representing the company professionally
- Completing paperwork and processing customer orders accurately
- Providing trade counter support when required
The Ideal Candidate
- Practical, hands-on, and confident fault-finding skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused - takes pride in producing high quality, reliable work
- Full UK driving licence required
- Mechanical or hydraulic experience preferred, but training can be provided for the right person
Working Hours
- Mon–Thurs: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Fri: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Sat: 8:00am – 12:00pm (2 on, 1 off)
