Job Description

We don't just talk, we do. Lead the change with us.

At the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, we work with political leaders around the world to drive change. We help governments turn bold ideas into reality so they can deliver for their people. We do it by advising on strategy, policy and delivery, unlocking the power of technology across all three. And by sharing what we learn on the ground, so everyone can benefit. We do it to build more open, inclusive and prosperous countries for people everywhere.

We are a global team of over 800 changemakers, operating in more than 40 countries, across five continents. We are political strategists, policy experts, delivery practitioners, technology specialists and more. We speak more than 45 languages. We are working on over 100 projects, tackling some of the world's biggest challenges. We're all here at TBI to make a difference.

In a world of ever more complex challenges, we believe diversity of background and perspective is a strength. We pride ourselves on a culture that values and nurtures difference. We are dedicated to unlocking potential, not only for the countries we work in but also for each of our team members. No matter where you're from or who you are, if you're passionate about the transformative power of progressive politics, we invite you to build a better future with us.

  • Manage resource and project workflow across the Studio for our Design and Video teams so we're efficient and effective in our delivery
  • Set up and run kick off meetings at the beginning of every project, ensuring all are clear on the agreed actions/plan discussed, and keep track of progress/approvals
  • Types of projects you will be working on include, but are not limited to, branding, web and social assets, video shoots, reports and data visualisations, and event collateral/planning
  • Motivate and encourage teams to produce incredible creative work
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors where needed, including liaising with internal budget holders and our Legal, Finance and People team, with support of the Senior PM/Head of Project Management
  • Run clear and positive briefing/feedback sessions that ensure we create the best quality work on time, on budget and on brief (whilst having fun in the process)
  • Manage multiple workstreams and be confident in reprioritising, playing deadline Jenga, and flagging concerns with wider PM team when required
  • Work closely with the Project Management team and Head of Design to define and allocate resource, having a point of view on the skills sets required for the project and the best approach to the brief
  • Be an advocate for all internal processes and have a cool head in chaotic times

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Process-oriented with a strong point of view and distinct voice
  • Conscientious with a sharp attention to detail
