Role Summary
The HRIS & Analytics Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the company\’s HR technology and data analytics capabilities, with a strong focus on Workday. This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of HR systems while developing and delivering accurate and insightful metrics and workforce analytics, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision-making. The incumbent will collaborate with the People team, IT, and business leaders to enhance system functionality, improve reporting capabilities, and drive continuous improvement in People team processes.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Management (Workday Focus):
- Serve as the People Team’s HRIS Workday expert/Super-User, liaising with the Digital team to ensure optimal configuration, functionality, and integration with other business systems.
- Manage security and access control within Workday, ensuring compliance with company policies and data privacy regulations.
- Support system testing and validation of new Workday features, including modules related to Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, Learning, and other HR functions.
People Team Reporting & Analytics
- Own all People reporting and analytics, developing dashboards and reports that provide actionable workforce insights.
- Create a dashboard and standard and ad hoc reports related to headcount, turnover, diversity, compensation, performance, and other HR metrics.
- Partner with People team and business leaders to identify data trends, forecast workforce needs, and support strategic People initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing audit processes and validating People data.
- Support compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
Process Improvement & Strategy
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Workday functionality and reporting efficiency.
- Stay current with Workday updates, HR technology trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize People team processes through automation and system enhancements.
Person Specification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in Workday reporting, dashboards, and analytics tools – Workday certifications in Reporting, HCM, or other relevant modules beneficial but not essential.
- Experience managing system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Advanced skills in HRIS administration, data analysis, reporting, and visualisation
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and best practices.
- Experience in a global HR environment with complex reporting needs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong team player capable of building effective relationships across multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral – to build relationships, provide appropriate challenge and to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Strong customer focus and service delivery ethos
- Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
