Job Description

Tony Benger Landscaping Ltd is a well-established, multi-disciplined landscaping company with a strong reputation for quality work and a genuine focus on developing its staff. We are looking for a Landscape Operative to join our Commercial Team, delivering high-quality landscaping projects across new housing developments. Based near Romsey in Hampshire, the role covers a wide regional area and offers long-term, stable employment within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Turfing and planting trees and shrubs on new housing estates
  • Rotovating, raking, turf laying, planting and mulching
  • Working as part of a small, reliable team
  • Liaising with site managers regarding future landscaping works
  • Grounds maintenance including mowing and strimming on private and commercial sites
  • Assisting with the construction of private gardens
  • Digger operating where required (beneficial but not essential)

About You

  • Previous experience as a Landscape Operative or in a similar role is preferred
  • CSCS card essential
  • UK driving licence required
  • Own transport required
  • Experience working on new housing developments desirable but not essential
  • Basic knowledge of common landscaping plants an advantage
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
