Ongoing Temporary Role (3-6 months) Based in Brighton (hybrid working – 1 day in the office a week) £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (can be full or part time hours, min 3 days).

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join an established business in the Brighton area on an ongoing contract basis to provide support. You will oversee and take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process across multiple sites for approximately 800 employees, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing including:
    • New starters and leavers
    • Permanent and variable pay changes
    • Overtime and commission payments
    • SSP, maternity, paternity and shared parental leave
    • Employee benefits and deductions
  • Ensure monthly and annual payroll deadlines are met
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and third parties in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, reports and documentation
  • Support payroll processes linked to employee benefit schemes
  • Liaise with HR, Finance and external payroll providers
  • Assist with year-end payroll reporting, including P11D and PSA processes
