Tony Alan Recruitment is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join a leading business in its field, based in the Horsham area. As Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in keeping the team motivated by ensuring every employee is paid accurately and on time each month. You’ll oversee all payroll transactions, making sure they’re processed smoothly and reflected correctly in both our bank accounts and financial statements, helping the business run seamlessly behind the scenes.

Your duties will include:

  • Own and manage the full payroll payment cycle, including working with HR to understand movements in the month and then relating those to the payroll bureau
  • Answering employee questions about payroll
  • Verifying changes to employee payments, remunerations and rewards
  • Calculating overtime, salary increases, shift payments and processing holiday, sick and maternity pay
  • Managing payments associated with expenses
  • Check and manage amendments for example SAYE, SIP, Smart Tech, Kiddi vouchers, Cycle to Work, Go Green Car Scheme, holiday deductions etc
