Tony Alan Recruitment is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Payroll professional to join a small yet growing accountancy practice, based just outside the Haywards Heath area. You will ensure every employee is paid accurately and on time each month.

Your duties will include:

  • Own and manage the full payroll cycle for the clients
  • Answering employee questions about payroll
  • Verifying changes to employee payments, remunerations and rewards
  • Calculating overtime, salary increases, shift payments and processing holiday, sick and maternity pay
  • Managing payments associated with expenses
  • Check and manage amendments for example SAYE, SIP, Smart Tech, Kiddi vouchers, Cycle to Work, Go Green Car Scheme, holiday deductions etc.
  • Set up staff payroll payments for agreed payment date
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Maintaining compliant policies
