Part time 15 hours based in Lewes £32,000 per annum pro rata. Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join an established, family run business in the Lewes area on a part time, permanent basis. You will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and support the day-to-day finance operations including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, managing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end procedures for small accounts.
Your duties will include:
- Maintenance of purchase and bank ledgers
- Document management
- Preparation and processing of payments
- Assist with the production of management accounts to Trial Balance
- Assisting Production of Statutory Accounts
- Calculation and Reconciliation of Intercompany Loans
- VAT Returns
Key requirements:
- Ideally you will have exposure of working in a similar role
- You must be a car driver due to the location
- Good excel skills
