Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new and exciting job opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join an established and growing SME company on a permanent contract. This role is due to continued growth. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone with prior finance experience.
Key Duties:
- Processing accounts payable and receivable and credit control
- Standing order payments, month end transfers cashbooks
- Liaising with suppliers, and internal teams to resolve finance queries
- Maintaining accurate data within accounting systems
- Supporting month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and basic reporting
- Deal with daily notifications generated and payments for billings MTD
- Assisting with office administration
Key Skills:
- Previous experience in a finance assistant or accounts-based role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Sage advantageous
