Credit Controller

Based just outside Henfield, West Sussex (parking available)
£30,000 - £34,000 per annum pro rata (25 - 30 hours per week)
Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a long standing business with a fantastic reputation based just outside the Henfield area on a permanent, part time basis.
You will report directly to the Finance Manager and be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring a healthy debtors ledger is maintained while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Your duties will include:
- Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and e-mail
- Building good relationships with customers
- Taking payments over the phone
- Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts
- Ensure invoices are sent accurately
- Credit checking new customers
- Produce an aged debt report
- Credit card reconciliations
- Send customer statements on a monthly basis
- Issue credit notes when needed
- Keep the system up to date and ensure all communication is documented
Key requirements:
- Experience of working in a credit control position is essential
- You must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage good client relationships
- Ability to work under pressure and to work to deadlines
