We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Hydraulic Modeller with 3 to 10 years of relevant experience to join us and be part of a successful and growing Water Engineering team. What you'll bring:

  • BE or BSc Qualification
  • 3 to 10 years' relevant experience
  • Experience with TUFLOW and/or Infoworks ICM, and QGIS
  • An understanding of stormwater catchment planning
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with clients to develop engineering solutions to flooding issues; including using sound judgement and experience
  • Experience preparing project proposals
  • You will be self‑motivated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an eye for detail, and will be savvy with Microsoft Suites and artificial intelligence tools

What you'll do:

  • Undertake analysis and design for various projects
  • Develop computational hydraulic models (1D and 2D) for fluvial and urban engineering applications
  • Undertake Flood Hazard Mapping and prepare Flood Risk Assessments to identify and understand catchment flooding issues
  • Hydrological analysis and data analysis
  • Drive high‑quality engineering design and flood modelling analysis outputs
  • You'll comply with Tonkin + Taylor Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Policies requirements
