Overview
We are urgently seeking your administration experience for an assignment with a Queensland Government department located in the Ipswich area.
Responsibilities
- Providing a broad range of reception, clerical, and administrative support services
- Answering telephones and providing basic information to client enquiries
- Raising purchase orders and processing invoices
- Word processing, spreadsheeting, and database maintenance
- Assisting with travel arrangements and vehicle bookings
- Filing, photocopying, and maintaining records
- Coordinating mail and correspondence flow (receiving, registering, distributing)
- Providing general administrative support as required
To be considered
- Proven administration experience with strong multi-tasking ability
- Previous experience with purchase orders and invoice processing
- Solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- A collaborative and proactive approach to team support
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Details
This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a Queensland Government department and be part of our temporary team.
On-site car parking available. We anticipate that this temporary assignment will be required until 28/11/2025 with view of possible extension.
