At Tonies, we’re on a mission to bring the magic of audio to children everywhere. Are you passionate about products, storytelling, and screen-free entertainment for children - and highly motivated by data and performance insights? We are looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Product Portfolio Manager to support the management and optimisation of the UK product portfolio. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior UK Product Portfolio Manager and cross-functional teams to analyse portfolio performance, interpret sales and margin data, support go-to-market execution, and contribute to the ongoing optimisation of our product range. A strong comfort with numbers and the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations will be key to success in this role. This is an exciting opportunity to develop strategic product management skills in a fast-paced environment while building a strong commercial and analytical foundation.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Support the Senior UK Product Portfolio Manager in managing the local portfolio across multiple categories
- Assist in aligning UK portfolio needs with global product and content roadmaps
- Maintain product data, lifecycle tracking, and launch documentation
- Manage the UK Digital Product Portfolio under the guidance of the Senior UK Product Portfolio Manager
- Support in the analysis of sales, margin, and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support competitor and market monitoring to inform portfolio recommendations
- Prepare regular reporting dashboards and performance summaries as per business need
- Support in tracking SKU performance across lifecycle stages
- Support range reviews and recommend adjustments based on data and retail feedback
- Assist in identifying underperforming SKUs and opportunities for growth
- Support launch planning for new products in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Operations
- Assist with pricing analysis and post-launch performance tracking
- Coordinate cross-functional timelines and deliverables
- Support planogram preparation and retail assortment reviews
- Work with channel owners to gather retail insights
- Support evaluation of local content and licensing opportunities
- Assist in preparing business cases for new product opportunities
What we are looking for:
- Experience in product management, product marketing, category management, or similar commercial/analytical roles
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and derive insights
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and collaborative working style
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with retail tools, dashboards, or planogram software is a plus
