What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in management consulting, in-house strategy teams or a fast-paced high-growth scale up
- Strategic acumen: proven ability to develop, implement, and align organisational strategies
- Analytical Thinking: robust analytical and problem-solving skills, experienced in financial analysis and corporate strategy
- Strong project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects and the desire to bring structure to undefined procedures
- Exceptional communication: strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Track record of driving business insights, actions, and accountability across organisations
- Startup mindset & owner mentality
- You are a team player and collaborator at heart
- Master’s degree in business administration, management or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.

At Tonies, we’re on a mission to bring the magic of audio to children everywhere. The Senior Manager Strategy & Business Operations will report directly to the UK Managing Director and work with the Management Team to develop and drive strategic objectives and operational excellence across the company. In this role, you will run key initiatives across all teams (marketing, growth, sales, operations, etc.) to identify new growth drivers, increase efficiency and profitability of the business. The role requires leadership, strategic thinking, cross-functional communication, organisation, and the ability to influence through respect and trust.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Strategic planning: you’ll develop the strategy for the UK business and align departmental strategies with the organisation’s overall goals. Translating annual plans into clear objectives per team to drive success.
- Drive impactful projects: you oversee cross-departmental projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and align with strategic objectives. You own and run strategic business initiatives across the UK business.
- Commercial excellence: you ensure the UK business relies on a robust set of KPIs to fuel high-impact decision-making and clear commercial actions.
- Operational efficiency: you’ll streamline operations and improve processes to support growth, efficiency and scalability.
- Organisation: you ensure the right people are communicating by organizing meetings, preparing agendas, briefings, and materials for leadership meetings, management reports and company updates.
- Data Analysis: you’ll support strategic decision making by analysing key data and presenting insights to leadership for actionable strategies.
- Leadership support: You are the right hand of, and reporting to the Managing Director, gaining daily insights into the responsibilities of running a business.
