Experienced Recruitment Consultant – Tech or Engineering
Location: Reading (Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in office)
Salary: Competitive basic (dependent on experience and billings) + uncapped commission
We are working with a number of well-established and growing recruitment businesses in the Reading area who are actively looking to hire experienced Recruitment Consultants with a background in technology or engineering recruitment, across permanent and/or contract markets. With the market picking up strongly this year, these businesses are investing in their teams and offering genuine long-term career paths, including progression to Principal, Manager and Director level for high performers.
The Role
- Managing and developing client relationships within tech or engineering markets
- Business development and account management (for 360 consultants)
- End-to-end recruitment delivery: sourcing, interviewing, shortlisting and placement
- Working on permanent and/or contract roles
- Building strong candidate pipelines and market knowledge
- Meeting and exceeding agreed revenue and activity targets
About You
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in recruitment
- Background in technology or engineering recruitment (perm and/or contract)
- 360 experience preferred, but strong delivery-focused consultants will also be considered
- Commercially aware, driven and motivated to progress
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with at least 3 days per week in the office
- Ambitious and interested in long-term career development
