Supported Living Manager—Stockport, Cheshire

My client is a well-established, not-for-profit care provider looking for a manager to oversee their Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in the Stockport area.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a small number of properties where adults with complex needs—including learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities—are supported to live as independently as possible.
- Manage a team, including recruitment, performance management, staff well-being, and rota planning across all properties in the Stockport area.
- Ensure teams deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care in line with CQC standards; manage quality & compliance, conduct audits and address any areas requiring improvement.
- Oversee additional aspects such as medication audits, policy adherence, and other service areas.
- Collaborate with Team Managers in separate services and work closely with the senior management team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with adults with complex care needs, gained in supported living or residential care settings.
- Strong knowledge of CQC care standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience in quality and compliance management, including audits and improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams, conduct recruitment, and maintain staff well-being.
- Comfortable managing staffing rotas across multiple locations.
