A fantastic not-for-profit care provider is looking for an experienced Care Manager to become their Supported Living Manager in Wigan, Lancashire. You will be a compassionate leader, with experience of working with people with learning disabilities, and have an excellent understanding of what it takes to provide the best possible levels of high-quality person-centred care.

You must have good knowledge of CQC requirements and standards, and have led and built teams providing care to adults with complex care needs. You will lead a team who in turn manage a portfolio of properties in the area, ranging from single occupancy houses to shared properties. Their clients are adults with a range of support needs, including adults with learning disabilities, mental health and also complex care.

Your role will be to support the individual managers to deliver high-quality care, ensuring the services are following best practice, compliance and safety. Overseeing recruitment and training, you will be able to nurture the staff, with a hands-on, lead by example style that encourages and empowers individuals, imparting your knowledge by mentoring and coaching.
