My client is one of the UK's leading learning disabilities care providers, looking for an experienced Supported Living Manager to become Service Manager of their Edgware based service, for adults with complex needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and other care needs such as mental health or ABI.
This is a high quality service, which is a relatively small complex of apartments with great facilities and resources, including outdoor spaces and shared internal areas. There has been an ongoing project to make improvements to certain elements of the service which has been very successful, but there is still some work to do which you will be driving forward. That means this is an excellent chance to make your mark, make a real difference to the residents and also the staff team.
It needs someone who has excellent knowledge of care quality and compliance, with an in-depth knowledge of current CQC regulations and guidelines, and experience of how these translate into creating a first-class service offering the best possible levels of person-centred care. You will be a compassionate, sensitive leader who can inspire and develop others and foster a collaborative, open culture where individuals are recognised, and have pride and passion for their roles and the impact they have.
The organisation has a structure which allows progression to Regional Management and beyond, with opportunities to partake in company wide groups and projects, and with ongoing, meaningful investment in your personal and professional development. As well as a good basic salary there is a bonus scheme relating to standards and performance.
