My client is a well established, award-winning care provider looking for a service manager to oversee their Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in the Hyde, Tameside area of Cheshire.
You will oversee supported living services which are self-contained apartments where adults with complex needs including learning disabilities, autism, mental health and other care needs are provided with the support to live as independently as possible.
You will have experience of working with adults with complex care needs, this could be from supported living or residential care settings. You need to be comfortable leading at Service Manager level in a good sized service.
You will have good knowledge of care standards (in line with CQC) and know how to ensure your teams are delivering high quality, person-centred care. You will have experience of quality & compliance management, including audits and rectifying any areas which need improvement.
You must be confident managing a team, with experience of recruitment, managing performance, ensuring staff well-being is maintained, and will be able to effectively manage staff rotas across the properties in line with ensuring best possible levels of care are provided. Knowledge of PBS/positive behaviour support would be advantageous.
You will be supported by a passionate and approachable senior management team who are knowledgeable, available and involved in all of the services across the area. The organisation has built an excellent reputation for being highly effective and quality driven.
