6 month contract in Halifax, West Yorkshire. IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED. DBS must be on the update system.

You will oversee the day to day running and management of a Respite Service and Short Stay Support Service for adults with Learning disabilities in the Halifax area. These services provide short to medium temporary respite support in homely surroundings.

You will have experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and autism, and in a residential, supported living or respite environment.

As a compassionate people manager, your main aims and responsibilities will be to motivate and support the teams by providing clear vision and direction. This includes:

  • Carrying out staff supervisions
  • Auditing
  • Monitoring risk assessments
  • Ensuring that record keeping is up to date
  • Maintaining CQC standards

You will provide encouragement to your team and ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide the best possible levels of person-centred care to the adults they support.
