My client is a growing SME healthcare provider looking to appoint an ambitious, experienced senior social care professional to a newly created role of Operations Director / Managing Director to drive their growth plans. You will have extensive experience of designing, driving and overseeing business expansion within the care sector, ideally providing leadership through mergers/acquisitions as well as successfully developing existing business.

You will also be an inspirational operational leader, who can empower and build high-performing leadership teams that show integrity and ambition. Their current services include home care for the elderly and also supported living for adults with learning disabilities and complex care needs. The current growth trajectory includes integration of other services via acquisition of organisations including further complex care services and case management for complex care and ABI.

As well as finely developed commercial awareness, you will have a deep understanding of the social care sector, including all aspects of operational requirements including legislation, compliance, quality and best practice in terms of running a successful, reputable care provider. This means you will be entirely comfortable being present and visible in the business, inspiring the leadership teams and sharing your knowledge and experience to bring the workforce with you on the growth journey.

You will have an influential role from the very outset and be instrumental in working with the current board of directors to successfully deliver their business plans. You will then have a Group position overseeing operations across the portfolio and further cementing the organisation as a care provider of choice across the region.

Operations will be North West and West Midlands based, so you will be commutable to locations within the region and happy to travel across Cheshire, Lancashire and Shropshire.
