You will be a passionate, knowledgable mental health professional, either a qualified RMN mental health nurse or qualified social worker. You will be providing crucial initial support to children and/or their families, providing guidance, support and advice and signposting where required to external mental health and wellbeing support services.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including families, external healthcare professionals, schools and referral partner organisations. You will work in collaboration with a wide range of contacts to ensure that the very best levels of support are being offered.
This will be a fast-paced role where you will be working in a busy, supportive team. You will be comfortable and confident assessing risk, making decisions around pathways and ensuring the best levels of personalised care and support are given to all the clients you work with.
