Overview
One of Tonic Health\’s project is the Night Light Café, which is a non-clinical, out-of-hours support service for people in mental health crisis, offering a safe alternative to A&E. Commissioned by the NHS and delivered by local charity partners, the cafés are volunteer-led and provide a welcoming, supportive environment. We are seeking a Facilitator for this group to pioneer the model in Spalding and Holbeach, managing sessions, supporting volunteers, and building strong local referral pathways.
Duties
- Lead and oversee Night Light Café sessions to ensure smooth operation. The sessions will run from 4pm – 7pm on a Monday and Thursday from our Spalding site and from 4pm – 7pm every Wednesday at our Holbeach site.
- Manage and support volunteer teams
- Liaise with Acts Trust, NHS Transformation team, and other partners
- Build and strengthen local referral networks
- Collate data and feedback for reporting
- Act as the main point of communication with the central Night Light Café team
Skills & Experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to lead and motivate volunteers
- Experience of community engagement (essential)
- Experience of partnership working across organisations (desired)
- Knowledge/experience of supporting people with mental health challenges (desired)
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Organised, able to prioritise tasks, with a positive outlook
- Computer literacy (desired)
- Flexible, willing to train and be trained

- Willing to undertake a DBS check
