We are committed to continuously achieving excellent safety standards, providing the best quality services and products to clients, and only employing highly qualified and experienced operatives and staff. \n Summary \n We are looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV driver with a valid driving licence. Based out of our Yard in Outwood near Redhill, this role will report into our Transport Manager. \n Responsibilities \n \n Ensuring safe delivery of equipment and items to sites/clients (undamaged). \n Delivery and collection of equipment to and from sites/clients. \n Loading and unloading of equipment, this will involve some lifting and carrying. \n Keep management and clients updated about any issues affecting delivery/collection of equipment (e.g. traffic delays, weather etc.). \n To adhere to all company policies and procedures, in particular the Health, Safety and Environmental. \n To attend all required training courses, tool-box talks and ensure complete all relevant risk assessments as required for the role. \n \n Qualifications \n \n Valid UK driving license with appropriate category for Class 1 vehicles \n Relevant on the road/client experience \n Digital Tachograph \n Strong understanding of road safety regulations \n Valid and current CPC qualification \n HIAB Licence / Lorry Loader training qualification preferred although not essential \n \n Schedule \n \n 8 hour shift \n Monday to Friday \n Daily start times 05.30AM - this may vary so flexibility with working hours is requested to support client and business needs \n Weekend work available \n \n Additional \n \n Bonus scheme \n Additional leave \n Company pension \n Free parking \n Life insurance \n On-site parking \n \n Applicants should have good communication skills, a positive outlook and a can-do work ethic.
